I was supposed to have dinner with Jessie and her best friend, Chee Nin, tonight at Tampines Mall. Told Jessie to go ahead without me because I had tons of work to do. So I stayed at home for the entire afternoon and night just to finish up my work.
After dinner, Jessie and Chee Nin (who drove her over) paid a surprise visit to my place with a cake!
Thank you my dear! That really cheered me up!

Jessie and I celebrated our 4th year anniversary on the 26th.
I thought it would be fun to kick-start the celebration by giving her a bouquet of tulips during lecture. This is our last year studying together in school and I won't get the chance to do something like that anymore.
Later on in the night, I sent her up to her doorstep after we returned from Amelia's birthday party. When I got back into my car, I drove to the rubbish dump behind her block so that she wouldn't be able to spot me. I took out a box of light sticks and snapped them. With the help of A LOT of transparent tape, I managed to stick them to the roof of my car. I wanted to make sure that the light sticks wouldn't fall off when I drove over.
A few curious residents peered at my car from their window. They thought that it was a marriage proposal going on and kept their eyes on my car.
They watched me drive SLOWLY to the carpark facing her kitchen window. I got out, called Jessie on her phone and told her to come to her kitchen window.

The view from Jessie's window.
The look on Jessie's face for the next half-hour was priceless! She was weeping and smiling at the same time!
I brought her out for dinner on Saturday night at Carousel @ Royal Plaza on Scotts Hotel. There were tealights at every table because of Earth Hour.
I gave her an Apple Magic Mouse as an anniversary present. I couldn't afford any expensive presents as I didn't have much money left in my account. Anyways...
Happy 4th anniversary my dear Jessie. Hope you had a good time!

Jessie appeared at my door step with lunch and an OSIM iPamper!
Thank you my dear! Here comes my post-workout relief!

Jessie gave me a Box Of Love containing a photo of our trip to Australia, Skittles, Snickers, mints, matchsticks and glue. Each of these represents an aspect of our relationship! I found it very special but Jessie doesn't want me to reveal the meanings online.
While most couples were enjoying the Valentine's Day dinner at some posh restaurant, Jessie and I were running around doing some serious shopping.
We had dinner at Breeks @ Changi Airport before heading down to Tampines Mall. There we played a simple game.
The rules were simple :
1) The cumulative amounts of all gifts should be as close to $26.03 as possible (26/03/06 was the day we both got together).
2) We would spend one hour shopping at our designated shopping mall before heading to the meeting point.
3) The person who spends the closest to $26.03 wins!
We drew lots in the car...
At the end of one hour, we got each other the following items :

Jessie got me a shoe-bag and a pouch for $27.00.

I got Jessie two packets of Ferrero Roche, four coasters and a laptop mouse for $25.77.
I won!
Yesterday I gave Jessie her Valentine's day present, together with 10 stalks of her favourite purple tulips. I made a cross stitch for her (which took about 3 weeks, on and off stitching), and on the card I wrote...
Every stitch I do, I do it for you.

Jessie's bouquet of tulips, card and cross-stitch.
Jessie was so touched that she burst out crying. Great success! It took me a long time to learn the basics of stitching and when she told me that she liked it a lot, I felt really happy.

Jessie gave me a Cerruti 1881 belt.
Jessie, in return, got me a Cerruti belt cut to my size! A decent belt is probably the only thing I need right now. Thank you so much my dear.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Jessie's mum is my best friend. I am invincible when Jessie's mum is around. Everything Jessie says which is bad about me gets thrown back at her. Double the intensity.
Let me highlight two incidences to prove my point.
Incident 1
I was driving the both of them to their new place in Tampines, when I had to switch lanes last minute and I couldn't do it.
Jessie : Just accelerate and cut into his lane!
Me : The car behind is too near. I'll go behind him.
Jessie's Mum : Jessie you keep quiet! You don't tell people to cut here and there. What if an accident happens? If you're not driving, just keep quiet!
Incident 2
I was at their place, standing outside the toilet telling her mum how beautiful the newly-renovated flat looked. Jessie came out from the toilet.
Jessie : You can use this bathroom to bathe next time.
Me : Great.
Jessie : Just don't make the entire bathroom floor wet. Mummy! You know what? Chris's dad says he bathes like a water buffalo. The entire toilet is soaking wet when he's out.
Jessie's Mum : Why do you like to say these kind of things? Keep quiet!
And of course, it works the other way round too (my dad and her).
*points at the GAP paper bag*
Me : What? You bought something again?
Jessie : Just a dress for this weekend.
Me : How much did it cost? Why can't you wear other dresses?
Jessie : I need a dress for this weekend.
Me : So every time you wait for me to finish class, you go off somewhere and buy something. Am I right?
Jessie : It's for you. Happy anniversary.
She gave me a peck on the cheek and handed me the GAP bag,
My balls went up to my throat! And it stayed there.
Thank you my dear. That was so nice of you!
Thank you my dear for the card and box of Hershey's Kisses! Happy 30th month anniversary to you too!
No expensive dinners or champagne this time, just the both of us watching Wall-E and sharing a large Coke Light. That's our idea of a romantic date!

28 month anniversary at Tapas Wine Bistro
Jessie pulled off another surprise dinner. She lured me to Holland Village, claiming to be interested in trying out Monster Mash. She then dragged me into Tapas Wine Bistro, wished me a happy anniversary, and gave her name to the waiter. Kenneth had already reserved a table for us, and he was nice enough to throw in two complimentary glasses of wine!
While we were having dinner, Jessie whipped out two movie tickets for Dark Knight at GV Grand, 9 p.m. I didn't know she planned this far!
And I realized there was a card sitting on my computer table when I reached home...
Happy 28 month anniversary to you, my lovely girl!
Last Saturday...
She said we would be having dinner at Pariss International Seafood Buffet @ Marina Square, because she had some discount vouchers. When asked to produce those vouchers, she kept grinning and said it was with her mum.
Then she said she needed to collect some clothes she ordered from UOB building.
Then she asked me to park at Parliament House, so we could walk there.
Then she told me, after lots of questioning, that we would be having dinner at Indochine instead.
Then, while walking past Indochine, she told me to NOT to go in. She needed to collect her clothes before the shop closes.
Then she dragged me across the bridge.
Then while giggling and tugging me at the same time, she wished me a happy anniversary and dragged me into...
She had booked a table for two, weeks ago, at Town Restaurant @ Fullerton Hotel.
Dinner was absolutely fantastic. It was a seafood buffet, even though the black pepper crabs lost out to Jumbo's, the desserts made up for it. I gorged myself silly with Oreo cheesecakes! And we ate so much oysters, we would probably be sex god and goddess in our next life!

Jessie and I at Town Restaurant.
Thank you my girl. And happy happy 27th month anniversary to you too. I love you to bits!
Jesse and I celebrated our 2nd Year Anniversary today. Exactly 2 years after we got together during my two-week confinement book out. Since then, my shaved head has grown a lot!
We settled down for dinner at Absolute Haven as recommended by HungryGoWhere. Absolute Haven is located at 70 Prinsep Street. You can either park outside the cafe (which I doubt you'll find any free lots), or at Sunshine Plaza, a short walk away. Just call 6333 4358. Couples who make reservations get a complimentary pink-rose-in-a-box.
We arrived at 6:20 pm. The music and lighting in there were so soothing, we both could fall asleep by just resting our heads on the table. It was great service there by Ms Margaret (written on the receipt) who periodically came over to check on us, asking about the quality of the food and how we got to know about Absolute Haven. Our glasses never got to half-full, as the waiters kept coming over to refill them with strawberry flavoured water. We had :

Asparagus Rolls, wrapped in bacon
I would recommend all of them, simply because, I've never tasted anything better. The only thing I didn't touch were the slices of cheese on top of the asparagus rolls. I gladly let Jessie have them. On the way out the waiter waved goodbye, and I told him,"Don't say bye yet, because we'll be back!" He thanked us and grinned.
After dinner, we caught the movie, Horton Hears A Who!
Jessie dumped a whole lot of shopping bags in the backseat of my car, and I wasn't even aware that my presents were inside them. She shoved me a few bags and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Happy 2nd Year Anniversary, I enjoyed myself tonight!" she declared. Yeah! Great success! *two thumbs up* And I began to open the presents :
She got me a Casio STP-100 pedometer watch (the one I showed her online, weeks ago, and she got it direct from a supplier) as well as a photo frame! Coincidentally, we both visited Bloomington Greetings @ Anchor Point on different dates, and we almost bought each other the SAME card. I remembered holding up her card, pondering for a few seconds, before deciding that it was too "girly".
Anyways, thank you so much my girl! Happy 2nd Year Anniversary to you, my love! Chapter III : University Life is starting soon!
We spent Valentines Day in class. Geesh. And throughout the lesson, we spent our time furiously denying that we bought anything for one another. "No,no, I didn't buy you anything. Don't be so cocky to keep asking. I really didn't buy you anything!" she declared.
So I sent her home, and out came her present from my car boot when she least expected it. And I went upstairs, my presents were there as well. We both lied to each other on Valentines day.
Thank you my girl for the really smart-looking shirt, the delicious jelly beans and the cute little card with the red car. Happy Valentines Day my dear Jessie. I love you!
Happy Valentines Day to you too, reading this.

Jessie gave me a post-Valentines-Day surprise lunch buffet at Carousel @ Royal Plaza On Scotts. She told me she needed to get some clothes from Far East Shopping Centre, and as we walked past Royal Plaza On Scotts, she dragged me in, and calmly told the Carousel staff that she had a reservation for two. Awesome.
Jessie waited for about five minutes in the car as I stood outside, finishing my cigarette. I was about to get in then I noticed a neatly wrapped box on my seat.
Wow! A 2008 planner with a leather cover! And all our anniversary dates and birthdays were marked in pink!
Thank you my girl. Happy 19th month anniversary!
Jessie threw me a surprise when she booked a room at Siloso Beach Resort overlooking Cafe Del Mar and told me about it last minute.

View of the pool from the rooftop.
Fantastic weekend getaway. We visited the attractions in the day and popped by Cafe Del Mar in the night...
There was champagne as well, waiting for us, when we got back to the room.
She popped the bottle of champagne in a full set of lingerie + garters + stockings, but I ain't gonna post the pictures. Haha! Way too erotic!
It was the first time I spent my weekend at Sentosa, and I really enjoyed myself. Thank you so much my girl!
I picked Jessie up from Vivocity after work. The early morning grilling, coupled with the rush hour jam pissed me off. Moreover, high tide, and stepping on the clutch added more pressure to the already bursting bladder. Jessie got into the car then shoved me a present.
It was really nice of her and it cheered me up a lot. Thank you my girl =D Looks like things didn't turn out that bad after all.
Celebrated our 16th Month Anniversary on Wednesday at Sentosa. Parked at Mt Faber around 8p.m. and took a cable car over to Sentosa. It's been ages since we've sat in one, and now they have fully glass cabins as well.

Normal Price : $17. Islander Member Price : $13.
Spent the night lazing around Sentosa, just enjoying the night breeze.

Jessie gave me a really interesting 'time-capsule box' with rose petals, lots of chocolates, our movie stubs and ferry tickets from our last trip to Tioman.

Anyways, I love you my darling for that wonderful night =D Happy 16 month anniversary!
Signed up for Sentosa Islander card ($19.90) last Friday with Jessie. Considering that the monorail ride is already $3, and the card gives you unlimited rides for a year, its pretty much worth it. And Songs of the Sea (aka musical fountain) costs only $4 for members.
Caught the 8:40pm show that night, simply breathtaking! Much better than the previous musical fountain.
If you haven't seen it yet, you really should.
Celebrated our anniversary with a simple dinner at Changing Appetites @ Marina Square, followed by a couple of drinks at Flo Bar & Lounge @ One Fullerton.

Jessie presented me with a scrapbook photoalbum that she took an entire month to design and make.
Thats so sweet of you my girl. And I'm looking forward to our 2nd Year :D
