A.D Business Studies Completion

Finally, the 3-month wait for the final module result has ended. I took the Advanced Diploma in Business Studies (part-time) during my National Service days, and finally, Jessie and I have graduated from the course! Ironically, while we're in the middle of a year 2 degree programme with Uni Newcastle.

The final score : 3A,5B,2C,1D. Not that good, but at least some improvement from my pathetic Poly GPA score of 1.85.

I would like to thank the following people, from the bottom of my heart :

My family - For forking out the $. Dad rushing down to Funan to buy printer ink for us, while we were rushing through the projects. Mum cooking dinner for us when we had no time to go out and buy dinner. Michelle lending us her notes and textbooks.

Jessie - For sticking with me, thick and thin, and being the discipline master of the group (screaming at those who did not do their work). I would always remember those late nights and low-morale moments while the both of us were stressed out rushing through the projects. I was the real grumpy one (throwing textbooks around, slamming doors, pounding on the computer table) and she was there to comfort me when I needed it the most. And oh yes, for drawing little cartoons and ridiculous amounts of "I LOVE WAIKIAN" all over my lecture notes. I love you, my girl!

Kwok Leong - One of the best team members we've ever had. We were considered very lucky to be able to work with him. The only person I know who can stay awake for 48 hours continuously (work, project, back to work, then project). The three of us worked hand-in-hand to finish compiling (even redoing!) the work of some motherfuckers in the group who gave crappy work and lots of excuses.

Not to forget those folks in camp, during my National Service days, who helped me out indirectly :

Chief Clerk Wenny and Captain Ben - For letting me take leave and off for my exams without fail, every single time. They even told me to study hard and wished me all the best of luck for my papers!

Jason, Boey, Kaiwen, Alvin, Victor, Ning Wei - For covering my duties while I was away for almost a week at a time. And for covering my ass while I was hiding in the strong-room studying for tests and quizzes. You guys would always help me read the R.O early, so that I could rush off for school on time.
