That Sound Is Fucking Awesome
Few weeks ago...
Dad : Yay! I'm going to F1 race day! At some..er.. pad.. dock... club! Oh ya, paddock club!
Me : Why do you need to go there when you can watch it on TV? No queue, no waiting, no shoving and pushing around.
Dad : It's... live! *mimics the engine roar of the cars* The cars are so fast you know?
Me : I think watching it on TV is way better.
Jessie and I were on the ECP yesterday night when traffic slowed to a crawl. We could hear the engine roar of the F1 cars in the distance, even with the windows shut. Out of curiosity, I wound down all the windows...
The sound was fucking awesome! It was like nothing I've ever heard. If I could think of one word to describe the sound, it would be... powerful.
Geesh! Why didn't we buy the tickets?!
Anyways, I'm hoping Dad comes home with some nice pictures and stories to tell. And to all those who bought the tickets, I really envy you guys! Watching live F1 is definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience, something which I missed out due to my own ignorance.

On the other hand, ALL you can do to partake is to HEAR the engines. That's all lor!
And those few seconds when the car zips by you and then u see everyone's head going from left to right (or right to left depending on direction) whenever the cars zoom by. THAT'S ALL LEH!! Worth it meh??
You probably won't see any overtaking, cos it usually happens at bends. You pretty much won't see anything but the cars zooming by every few minutes.
You might as well keep the money for something else.
If you like the sound, I record for you and you make into ringtone. *LOL*
V expeeensive.
SCREW MASSA AND HIS PIT's CREW!!!!
Shelly : There's a maximum volume handphones can go! The sound simply thrills me. Of course you need to get a good ticket in order to avoid straining your neck! I just got the Paddock Club photos from dad, together with a video of a Honda car making a pit stop. I think it's a spectacular place to watch the race from with no need for ear plugs, and food available at a snap of the fingers. Will post it up later!
Heh, ever considered baby Joshua to be potential F1-driver material?
Corrine : yea, good view comes with a price.
William : For a one-hundred-dollar bet, urm ya... screw massa! Condolences dude!
